What a Deep Clean Actually Changes

Bathtub and Shower: Descaling, Not Just Scrubbing
Soap scum and hard-water buildup do not come off with a quick wipe. We work the tub, tile and grout lines with non-abrasive tools and a descaling agent matched to Toronto's water, then finish with a dry pass so the surface stays streak-free instead of drying cloudy. No scratched acrylic, no bleached grout.
Bathrooms: The Corners That Get Skipped
Toilet base and hinges, the seal behind the tank, the underside of the sink lip, the track at the bottom of a shower door. These are the places a rushed clean misses, and the places that actually smell. Each one gets its own pass, with colour-coded cloths that never leave the bathroom.
Refrigerators: Inside the Fridge, Product Matters
We use food-safe cleaners on every shelf, drawer and door seal, then dry each surface before anything goes back in. Spills get lifted rather than smeared, and the seals — where mould starts — get their own pass. The result is genuinely sanitized, not just tidied.
Kitchens: Grease Needs Dwell Time, Not Force
Baked-on grease comes off in layers. We apply a degreaser, let it work, then lift the residue — cabinet fronts, backsplash, the hood filter and the gap beside the stove where spills quietly collect. Stainless is wiped with the grain of the metal, never against it.
Laundry Rooms: Nobody Books It, Everybody Notices It
Detergent residue hardens on shelves, lint collects behind and under the machines, and the utility sink takes the worst of the household. It is a small room that takes real time, and it is usually the first door a landlord or buyer opens.
Whole-Unit Turnovers: Empty Rooms Hide Nothing
Every mark behind a headboard, inside a closet and under an appliance is suddenly visible — which is exactly what a landlord's walkthrough is for. Are these photos from real Now It's Clean jobs?
Yes. Every photo on this page is from an actual clean completed by our team in Toronto or the wider GTA, shared with the client's permission. We do not use stock photography to show our results.
Is this level of clean part of a regular visit?
Some of it is. Kitchens, bathrooms, floors and dusting are covered on every visit. The heavier results here — oven interiors, descaled tile, appliance interiors, post-renovation dust — are deep-clean and add-on work. Tell us what you need when you book and we will quote the right service rather than the cheapest one.
How long does a deep clean like this take?
It depends on the size and condition of the space, which is why we quote per property rather than by the hour alone. A one-bedroom condo and a four-bedroom house are very different jobs. Call us for an upfront estimate with no hidden fees.
