A deep clean includes everything in a regular clean, plus the detailed work that builds up over months: baseboards, door frames, grout, behind and under furniture and appliances, and the grime a weekly wipe-down misses. It usually takes about 1.5 times as long as a standard clean because every surface gets hands-on attention.

Kitchen

  • Degreasing the stovetop, backsplash and range hood
  • Wiping cabinet fronts, handles and the tops of cabinets
  • Cleaning the outside of all appliances, and inside the microwave
  • Scrubbing the sink, faucet and drain area

Bathrooms

  • Scrubbing grout, tile and soap scum from tubs and showers
  • Descaling faucets and shower heads
  • Disinfecting the toilet inside and out, including the base
  • Cleaning mirrors, vanities and cabinet fronts

Every room

  • Hand-wiping baseboards, door frames, doors and light switches
  • Dusting ceiling fans, vents, light fixtures and high spots
  • Vacuuming under furniture and along edges, then mopping hard floors
  • Wiping window sills and tracks

What’s usually an add-on

Inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside cabinets, interior windows and balconies are often booked as extras. Ask when you book so the time is planned in.
