Yes, light tidying is included in every Now It’s Clean visit. Our cleaners straighten up as they go so surfaces and floors can be cleaned properly, but a cleaner’s main job is to clean, not to organize your belongings.
What light tidying includes
- Making beds and straightening pillows and throws
- Straightening items on counters, tables and shelves before wiping them
- Folding blankets and tidying couch cushions
- Lining up shoes at the entrance and pushing in chairs
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
What tidying doesn’t include
We don’t sort mail and papers, put away piles of clothes or laundry, wash dishes left in the sink, or decide where your things belong. Personal items are moved to clean underneath and put back where we found them, not rearranged.
Why a little prep helps
Cleaning time goes to cleaning, not picking up. If floors and counters are covered, the team spends part of your booking moving things instead of scrubbing. A quick 15-minute pickup before we arrive means more of your time is spent on baseboards, grout and the detailed work you’re paying for.
If your home needs more than light tidying, tell us when you book. We can plan extra time so nothing gets rushed.
